The Rum Store was the central building in the Royal Clarence Victualling Yard - the yard that fed the Royal Navy, and this building housed the very valuable Royal Navy Rum ration.

The plan is for the building to be ‘core ready’ by Summer 2028. Our first tenants will be in and we will be putting together our shared services and facilities.

Yes. The units in The Rum Store will have on-site parking (including disable spaces), bike storage, Wi-Fi, and the Victoria Quay site team are on-hand to help you every step of the way.
We already have ‘T by The Sea’ on site, an independent coffee shop, described locally as a hidden gem. And as we look for businesses to move into The Rum Store, we hope that there will be many more Leisure, Retail and hospitality companies that join us. -
Yes! In the boat yard we offer a range of options for both Leisure and Commercial boats. If you want a lift, wash and re-launch, or block-off ashore, then we have you covered. Simply see our VQ team and they will check availability.

The Rum Store at Victoria Quay was the hub of the Royal Clarence Victualling yard. Established in 1701, it supplied all the rum rations for the entire Royal Navy fleet.
