About Victoria Quay
Victoria Quay is located at Royal Clarence Yard in Gosport, Hampshire and has a long maritime history. At one point, the site stored the entire Royal Navy’s rum supplies, and the store can still be seen today after it survived bombing in World War 2.
It is also home to a historically important section of Queen Victoria’s railway station, which she travelled to before boarding her yacht to visit the Isle of Wight for her summer holiday.
Investment is now in place for the significant regeneration of The Rum Store in order to develop it into a marine service centre for the local industry.
